Hey families, there is a new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) app available for young children from birth to five years old. It’s called STEMIE’s My STEM Adventure.
The My STEM Adventure app is a fully accessible app that guides families to engage children in STEM activities. The app provides step-by-step instructions that lead children (including those with disabilities) on STEM adventures.
They can explore STEM in their homes or neighborhoods. Interestingly enough, the prototype has been tested with families and educators with young children with disabilities.
Currently, the team continues to develop more adventures and features this year. So, let the adventures begin!
