Today, we honored military children by wearing purple. April is the month we honor military kids for their resiliency and sacrifices.
Throughout April, the Pentagon and military support organizations recognize the more than 1.2 million military children. Today, Bluewell Elementary School joined them.
We, as a school, sympathize with military families, and the fact that children of military families are often separated from their parents for long periods of time. Military kids face challenges such as loneliness and frustration. So, our students joined together to show them support.
However, we at Bluewell Elementary School are honored to show support to military kids and families around the country. Our students looked great in their purple today!
