Yesterday was National Bookmobile Day! So, we couldn’t let the week go by without recognizing our bookmobile.
A bookmobile is a vehicle used as a library. Other names include traveling library, library wagon, book wagon, book truck, library-on-wheels, and book auto service.
Bookmobiles transport library books to potential readers. The Craft Memorial Library’s Bookmobile visits Bluewell School on a regular basis in order to bring books to our students.
Chuck Jones operates our local bookmobile, and he has for almost 17 years. We are so thankful for the difference the Craft Memorial Library’s Bookmobile is making in our community! Thank you for bringing power of reading to our doorsteps.
