Hello, families!  Do you have a desire to make a difference in your child’s school, but you’re not sure where to start?  Here are a few suggestions if you would like to give your child’s teacher a helping hand!

  • Schools go through supplies at an exponential rate, so supply donations are always welcomed.  You can donate items such as pencils and pens or hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes.

  • By the beginning of next year, we would love to welcome back parent volunteers! For example, we love having guest readers, guest speakers, or consider signing up as a substitute teacher.
  • We are willing to have assistance with after-school activities.  If you can’t volunteer during the school day, then consider leading a club for the students.  In fact, they have voiced interest in after-school clubs to the staff.
  • One of the best ways to make a difference in your child’s school is by attending meetings.  Whether they are teacher conferences, IEP meetings, leadership meetings, or anything in between…your presence is important.  It helps advance our school, as well as your child’s achievement.

  • Bluewell School staff is always willing to work with our local community members, but we also love meeting and working with new community members too!  If you know a community member who could assist us with a project or provide some helpful information to our staff or students, reach out to them, and let us know as well.  Who knows what could happen while building new relationships?

We appreciate our students, families, and community members so much.  We know that if we continue to work together, then we will build a bright and positive future for our students.  Now, that makes a huge difference!
