We finished Read Across America Week the right way...with Pajama Day! Not only did we see pajamas, but kids also wore slippers and robes. There may have also been a blanket or two in the midst.
Of course, we celebrate Dr. Suess and children's literature during Read Across America Week. So, Pajama Day was for Dr. Suess' "The Sleep Book." Truly, the kids were comfy and cozy as they enjoyed Dr. Suess books today, and it was a perfect day.
Not only did the kids get to enjoy their pajamas, but they also were treated to popcorn in the late afternoon. What could be better than a Friday in your pajamas with an extra special snack? Some of the staff may have obtained a treat, as well!
So, we certainly had a wonderful time this week, and we look forward to Read Across America Week returning next year. From all of us here at Bluewell School, we wish you happy reading!
