Social media surrounds us...every day! So, Bluewell School plans to utilize it in an even greater way!
Most of you know we have our Bluewell School Facebook page, but did you know we have TWO YouTube channels that are connected to our school?
First, we have our Bluewell Elementary School YouTube channel. Here, you can watch videos featuring our students and staff, as well as obtain important updates.
However, we aim to use our Bluewell Elementary School YouTube channel even more in the very near future. The goal is to upload a video daily, highlighting important aspects of our school and to keep you updated. So, here is the plan for the videos:
- Make a Difference Mondays: On Mondays, we will feature videos that show you how Bluewell School is making a difference!
- Top It Off Tuesdays: Each Tuesday, we will show an instructional strategy to help you (the families) assist your children with homework. For example, we will explain how to assist your child with multiplication.
- Wellness Wednesdays: Of course, we teach the whole child. Therefore, Wednesdays will focus on health, whether it be physical health, mental health, social/emotional health, or anything in between.
- This or That Thursdays: Videos on Thursdays will vary, depending on what's going on at the time. They may feature events at the school, county events, community outreaches, and more!
- Friday Features: Fridays will promote a staff member or student who is making a difference. For example, we may talk about our Reading Bee team, Teacher of the Year, or Service Person of the Year. However, we may also talk about individuals who are excelling academically or are just simply kind to others.
- Saturday Stories: On Saturdays, we will post a video explaining all the events coming up for the next week, sort of like a news clip.
- Sing-Along Sundays: Yep! We will focus on music education on Sundays, and we will post a video of a popular or well-known song, so the kids can sing along (with the principal). Let loose and have fun!
The other YouTube channel we encourage you to check out is Mr. Green's PE. Here, you can find all sorts of videos that focus on physical activity. Keep a close watch, new videos are posted often!
