Hey, Bluewell School families! Did you know that your kids will have new textbook series in reading and science next year? Yes, lots of new changes will be coming your way.
Right now, teachers around Mercer County are on committees to select the new series for reading and science. As always, we have great teachers representing Bluewell School on these committees.
Mrs. Rebecca Burnette, our Kindergarten Teacher, is on the reading textbook committee. Her knowledge and love of reading (and her students) means we are in great hands. Her expertise brings plenty to the committee table!
Accordingly, Mrs. Melaina Whitt and Mrs. Lori Thompson represent Bluewell School on the science textbook adoption committee. If you know these two, they do a ton of science experiments and lessons with their students. We around Bluewell School call them the "Science Gurus."
So, we are excited to see which new textbook series will be selected for reading and science. I am confident our students will enjoy both!
