Last week, Timberwood Elementary proudly recognized National Substitute Appreciation Week, honoring the dedicated substitutes who step in and support classrooms each day. These individuals play a vital role in keeping learning on track and ensuring that students are cared for and supported, no matter what.
We are incredibly grateful for the substitutes who consistently show up for our students and our school community. Their flexibility, patience, and willingness to help wherever needed make a tremendous difference.
A heartfelt thank you to the following substitutes for their service and commitment:
Adam Grose — Autism Teacher
Brandy Larue — Special Education
Georgetter Hylton — Pre-K Aide
Samantha Bailey — Special Education Aide
Sarah Thorne — Speech Aide (not pictured)
Cristen Tilley — Fourth Grade
Each of these individuals brings unique strengths to our classrooms and contributes to the positive learning environment our students experience every day.
To all of our substitutes: May you feel loved, valued, and appreciated throughout the entire year—not just this week. Timberwood Elementary is better because of you.
