Donations of patrons and Bojangles

PRINCETON, WV, August 30, 2017:  Students at Lashmeet/Matoaka School are very fortunate to have the support of Bojangles Restaurant.  Today, the manager of the Princeton Bojangles, Mr. Rick Pennington, presented Lashmeet/Matoaka Elementary School with a check for $3,796.00.  The funds were raised from donations of patrons.  For each one dollar ($1.00) donated, the restaurant donated a dollar.

On weekends students receive blessing bags donated by the Lashmeet Church of God.  The funds raised by Bojangles will be used to purchase fruit items to add to the blessing bags and to purchase school supplies.

Mercer County Schools Superintendent, Dr. Deborah Akers, and the Mercer County Board of Education would like to thank Bojangles and the Lashmeet Church of God for their help in assisting students attending Lashmeet/Matoaka School.

Thank You!
