March 23 Update

Posted by Ashley Vaughn on 3/23/2020

Mercer County Schools will be providing meals for students again tomorrow. Meals will be delivered on bus routes 4 hours after the normal morning bus pick up time. Deliveries will include lunch and breakfast items for 5 days.
Parents should expect buses to arrive at their child’s morning bus stop, 4 hours after their child’s normal pick up time. With the additional food, stops may take longer so there could be a slight delay in the drop off time.
If you are unsure of the route schedule, you may access it on the Mercer County Schools website by clicking on the Coronavirus Portal, you can access bus schedules on the left side of the page.
For the safety of our youngest students, we request that a parent or guardian be at the bus stop with our Pre-K through 3rd grade students.
Meals may be picked up by parent or guardian. Students do not have to be present.
In addition to bus delivery, meals for students may be picked up at the following locations: Princeton Senior High School, Pikeview High School, Bluefield Intermediate School, Mountain Valley School, Lashmeet Matoaka School, and Montcalm High School between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
If you have questions or need additional information, contact your child’s school.
Thank you.
