Withdrawing from Adult Programs
The Mercer County Technical Education Center is considered a Clock-Hour institutional in regards to financial aid.
In order to withdraw from a program, a student should contact their instructor by email to notify them of their withdrawal from the program.
The school is required to take attendance. Once a student has exceeded the number of days allowed for their program, the school will reach out to the student to verify status.
Once it is determined that a student has withdrawn, the student's last day of attendance will be used to determine refunds from financial aid. Please refer to the Refund page for self-paying students, or to the Return of Title-IV funds if receiving federal aid.
