    American Legion Riley-Vest Post #9 - Fred Gilbert Scholarship - GPA, Leadership, financial need; amount varies

    Andrew Dodson Memorial - Major in law enforcement or criminal justice at Bluefield State College, amount varies, usually $500.

    Bluefield Civitan Club - GPA, leadership, financial need

    Bluewell Women's Club - Reside in Bluewell/Brushfork area, $500

    Craig Armbrister Memorial Scholarship - Academics, character, need and contribution to the school and community considered; several awarded each year at $500

    Violet M. Campbell and Chershire Long Scholarship - minority scholarships; character and need considerations, potential for college success; $1,000 per year

    Virginia & Max Kammer Family Scholarship Fund - Attend WVU with a major in Agriculture & Forestry (at Graham High School, also)

    Henry Rodgin Memorial for Bluefield College - Attend Bluefield College

    Davidson Memorial Firefighters Association - $500

    Madhu Chopra - Above average student who has demonstrated improvement in high school and has extreme desire to be a college graduate; $500

    Quota Club of South Bluefield - Major in speech or hearing therapy

    Heather Dawn Volk Foundation Memorial Scholarship - Student's performance, aptitude, future aims, objectives, consistent scholastic ability; $500

    Bing Sudduth Academic/Athletic Scholarship –$1,000-Must have participated in high school athletics & attend a West Virginia College

    To provide scholarship assistance to graduating seniors of Bluefield and/or Graham High Schools who are children of emergency service employees who lost their life while in the line of duty.     Bellamy Scholarship - Attend Bluefield State College, GPA, ACT, character, citizenship; amount – cost of tuition and fees

    Class of 1926 - GPA, good character, financial need, good citizenship; one of three can be for vocational-technical student planning to attend technical school; amount varies - one $1,500 renewable for four years, one $1,000 renewable for four years, one $1,000 renewable for two years; application & essay

    Arlene Sweeney Jones Award - Female, high GPA in language arts, music, art, drama; $1,000 award; may be chosen by the senor guidance counselors and/or principal; application with essays required

    Kiwanis Scholarship -- Active Key Club member, character, GPA; $500 award; contact-- current Kiwanis Club President

    Charles “Chuck” Mathena, II Memorial Scholarship - School activities, “B” average, financial need; $2,000-$5000 for 4 years of college; need to attend reception for applicants for interviews, application and recommendations required

    Chester Pettry - 2.0 GPA, 10 or fewer absences during senior year, attend state college or technical school, service to school; 2-$750 awards; 3 recommendations and application
